Amoxycillin Capsule and Dry suspension

Amoxycillin (h-hydroxy ampicillin) is broad spectrum antibiotic. It appears potent and fast bactericidal effect to both Gram positive bacterium and Gram negative bacterium. It also effectively posses its bactericidal power to HP (Pyloric Helicobacterium) and Leptospira. Amoxycillin has a unique mechanism of action which can inhibit synthesis of bacteria cell wall. It shows more potent and fast bactericidal effect than ampicillin. It is mainly indicated in treatment of infection in respiratory system, urinary system, digestive system, otorhinolaryngology, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology and soft tissue.

Administration:

Adults:
 Mild-moderate infection: Amoxycillin 500mg tid PO;
 Severe condition: dosage need to be added up to 1g tid PO
 Digestive ulcer with HP infection: recommended dose is 1000-2000 mg divided into 2-4 intakes or following doctors instructions;

Cefaclor capsule and dry suspension

Cefaclor is a 2nd generation semi-synthesis cephalosporin. In vitro studies have shown its bactericidal effect through inhibiting bacteria cell wall synthesis. It appears very potent inhibitory effects to Gram positive bacterium, Gram negative aerobic and anaerobic bacterium. It is mainly indicated in treatment of infection in respiratory system, urinary system, digestive system, otorhinolaryngology, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology and soft tissue. Cefaclor is well absorbed after oral administration in fast. It can quickly achieve certain plasma concentration and penetration into pharyngeal tonsil and tonsil. Its MIC in middle ear, nasal sinuses, pharyngeal tonsil, tonsil and pharynx is far exceed the minimal plasma concentration which can possess its inhibitory effects to bacteria. It also have a relatively higher concentration in sputum and bronchial mucosa.
Administration:
Adults:

 Mild-moderate infection: 250mg q8h PO
 Severe condition (pneumonia): dose can be doubled but total dose should not exceed 4g per day.
